Rockets split weekend, prep for big week ahead

STRATHROY—

Ethan Facchina tallied twice, and added a helper in a 4-1 win over the Chatham Maroons Saturday at the West Middlesex Memorial Centre. The win helped Strathroy bounce back after a 4-1 loss on the road Friday night in St. Marys. Matthew Souliere and Jimmy Sutherland also found the back of the net on Saturday, while Colin Androlewicz stopped 23/24 shots in goal.

The Rockets make the trek down the 401 to Lasalle on Wednesday night for their first meeting of the season against the first place Vipers. The two teams will meet again Saturday back home in Strathroy.

It’s a busy and challenging stretch of hockey for the young club over the next few weeks, one that will see tests against some of the GOJHLs top teams.

Both games this week will be available to stream on FLO Hockey, as well as broadcast for radio listeners on the Rockets Audio Network.
