Rockets add familiar faces for 2020-2021

Rockets fans will get the chance to see another handful of familiar faces in the lineup when the season rolls around, as over the last week the team announced the re-signing of four more players. Blake Hull and Spencer Proulx will be back on the blueline for the club next season, meanwhile the offence will be aided by the return of both Zachary Berriault and Carson Perry. All four players will be returning for their third season in a Rockets jersey.

 

Both Zach Berriault (Midland, ON), and Carson Perry (Petrolia, ON), have been regulars in the lineup over their first two seasons in Strathroy. For Berriault, he has played in 90 regular season games in 2 seasons with the club. Compiling 49 career points, and 28 of those coming last season. Prior to joining the Rockets, he played for his hometown Midland Flyers in the PJHL. Perry comes back to the club for year three with 81 career games played, where he has been able to pick up 53 points, including 29 last season. Both players will bring good experience to the lineup for Strathroy in the upcoming season.

 

On defence the Rockets will be aided by a pair of returning players in Blake Hull (Petrolia, ON) and Spencer Proulx (Welland, ON), who will both be back for their third seasons in Strathroy. Proulx has played in 77 regular season games for the Rockets after joining in 2018, with Hull playing in a similar 79 games over his first two seasons. Both players will be huge on the defensive side of the game for Strathroy in the upcoming season, while also being able to lead some of the younger guys with their junior experience.
