Liam Spencer’s 3rd goal of the season, just 9:47 into the first period, brought down the Teddy Bears in front of 422 fans at the WMMC Saturday night. It was part of a 6-3 win for the Rockets on home ice over the Welland Jr. Canadians in cross-conference play. Strathroy improves to 4-2 in cross-conference play this season.

Rene Van Bommel, in just his 2nd game since returning to the lineup, tallied a pair of goals and added an assist for the home side. While Noah Jenken, Nathan Schaap, and Matthew Souliere also found the back of the net. In between the pipes, Colin Androlewicz made 20 saves on just 23 shots.

Strathroy hosts London on Tuesday night, before making the trip to St. Thomas on Friday to round out the 2023 portion of the schedule.
