Rockets stay hot in win over Maroons

The Rockets scored 3 times on the powerplay in the first period, on route to an 8-3 win over the Chatham Maroons on Saturday night at the West Middlesex Memorial Centre.

Fourteen Rocket skaters got on the score sheet in the win, with Jimmy Sutherland leading the way with 2 goals and an assist. Matthew Souliere scored his team leading 23rd of the year, while Ethan Facchina scored and picked up an assist for points 45 and 46 on the season, a new high for him. Mason Landry, Kyler Morgan, Rene Van Bommel and Damian Pancino also scored in the win. Hayden Duncan made 29 saves on 32 shots for the win in net.

The Rockets are back in action next weekend with two road games. Friday night in St. Thomas, and Saturday night in Komoka. There is no Home Game next weekend (Jan. 27th)
