Rockets beat Kings 8-1, back in win column

The Rockets scored early, and often, on route to an 8-1 win over the Komoka Kings on Sunday afternoon in Komoka.

Matthew Souliere led the offence with 3 goals and an assist, Rene Van Bommel had 3 assists in his return to the lineup, and Reid Lovecky also had 3 points, scoring the Rockets first goal, and adding two assists.

The Rockets also got goals from Mason Landry and Jimmy Sutherland, and Kyler Morgan scored his first two goals of the season.

Ben Gustafson made 22 saves on 23 shots in net, picking up the win in his first game of the season.

Strathroy is back in action Friday night in St. Thomas.
