Over the past few months, speculation has been swirling regarding the future of the Strathroy Rockets and the possibility of relocation. The organization would like to put these rumours to rest and make it clear: The Rockets are here to stay.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the Strathroy community, the team has secured a three-year agreement with the municipality for advertising rights at the West Middlesex Memorial Centre (WMMC) Back in September of 2024. This partnership reinforces our dedication to maintaining a strong presence in the local hockey scene and building toward a bright future right here in Strathroy.
While this season has been a transition year, we remain focused on laying the foundation for long-term success. We recognize that there is still plenty of work to be done to shape the program into what we envision, but rest assured, big plans are in motion. The 2026-27 season will mark an exciting new chapter for the Rockets, bringing a significant boost to hockey in Strathroy and solidifying our place in the community for years to come.
We appreciate the unwavering support from our fans, partners, and the entire Strathroy hockey family. As we continue to build, your passion and commitment remain vital to our success.
