Strathroy Rockets Announce Eoin McInerney as Assistant General Manager

The Strathroy Rockets have appointed Eoin McInerney as their new Assistant General Manager. The London native and former London Knight marks a strategic move to enhance their executive team ahead of the upcoming season. With extensive playing experience and a strong passion for the sport, McInerney is expected to play an important role in player development and strategic community planning. His appointment underscores the Rockets’ commitment to fostering not only a competitive edge in junior hockey but also community outreach.

Rockets GM Andrew Ferlatte had this to say about the hiring of McInerney: “Adding Eoin has a lot of upside. He is not only local but also brings extensive playing experience. Having someone who is well-connected is very important for our players who hope to advance through the Rockets program to the next level. We are very happy to have Eoin with us; he will be a great asset to the organization.”

Eoin made his official statement as AGM of the Rockets: “I am extremely excited to join the new management team for the Strathroy Rockets. Strathroy has been a tremendous hockey community for as long as I can remember, from grassroots minor hockey up to the Rockets. The city, fans, and players are tremendous ambassadors for this gem of a hockey town. We will do our best to bring a championship home and continue to be involved in this fantastic community and surrounding areas.”
