Shootout win over Nats keeps streak alive

—LONDON—

The streak lives on, 18 straight hockey game with at least a point for Strathroy.

The latest win, a nail biter shootout contest in London over the Nationals, a testament to the resilience seen over the past two months from the young Rockets club who has vaulted themselves up the standings.

Nathan Schaap and Nicholas Serratore scored in regulation for Strathroy, and Noah Jenken and Jimmy Sutherland both scored in the shootout for the win. Colin Androlewicz made 39 saves in net for the win.

As of Thursday morning, the Rockets now sit tied with London for 1st place in the Western Conference, with 1 game in hand. St. Marys is 2 points back in 3rd place.

The next two games for Strathroy come over the weekend, as they host the Stars on Saturday, and then travel to Chatham Sunday.
