Rockets name Kaden Hoggarth Captain for 22/23

STRATHROY–

The Strathroy Rockets are pleased to announce that Kaden Hoggarth has been named the captain of the Rockets for the upcoming season.

The 20 year old forward brings with him 4 years of experience in local junior hockey, and played in 47 games last season with the Rockets. Prior to making the jump to Jr. ‘B’, Kaden played in Mitchell and in his hometown of Goderich  in the PJHL. He tallied 12 goals and 7 assists last season in Strathroy, and will be looking to help lead the Rockets this season.

When asked about Kaden, Head coach Jason Williams said: “We feel Kaden believes in the culture of the organization and the direction of what it takes to develop each player to their highest potential. Kaden is a 20 year old veteran who leads by example both on and off the ice. His presence in the dressing room is well known and respected by all. Kaden plays a 200 foot game, and is a great 2-way player who comes to practice every day eager to improve himself and others around him. We look forward to watching Kaden excel in his new role.”

The Rockets continue their preseason tonight in Listowel against the Cyclones at 7:30pm.

The Rockets first home game of the preseason is Saturday night at 7:30pm at the Gemini Sportsplex against Sarnia. Tickets are $7, with kids under 10 free of charge. Season passes will be on sale for $175.
