2022-2023 Schedule Announced

The GOJHL announced on Monday the schedule for the 2022-2023 Season, beginning in September. This season the league will be back to playing 50 games, 48 of those in conference, and 2 in the annual GOJHL Showcase event happening September 23-25 in Pelham, Ontario.

 

The Rockets will begin the season with 6 straight games away from home, beginning Friday, September 9th in St. Mary’s against the Lincolns. At the GOJHL Showcase, The Rockets will have two matchups against Mid-Western conference opponents. On The Friday, Strathroy will play the Ayr Centennials at 2pm. The will be the first meeting between the two clubs in the GOJHL, Ayr had their first season in the league last year. The Rockets second showcase game will be on Saturday morning against the Stratford Warriors, with puck drop set for 11:00am! This will be the first meeting between the clubs since 2008!

 

Our 2022-2023 Home Opener will take place on October 1st, as we welcome the St. Thomas Stars to the WMMC for the first time this season! Puck drop is at 7:30pm.

All Rockets games will be streamed live for fans to watch on HockeyTV.com. A subscription is required to watch. The Rockets will also welcome back live free audio streams of over 40 regular season games, at home and on the road. Giving fans the chance to listen in if they cannot make it to the games. More details on where to listen will be available before the season.

Home Opener: Oct. 1st – 7:30pm VS St. Thomas

Last game before Holiday break: Dec. 20th – 7:30pm VS Chatham

Last regular season game: Feb. 25th – 7VS Chatham
